No more Mr. Nice Gay
This is such an excellent piece, such a great response to the horribly disappointing CA Supreme Court Decision yesterday. Read and share...

Gavin Newsom asked CA Supreme Court to delay announcement on Prop 8
Isn't this interesting... it's from www.Towelroad.com, which I found through Twitter. I LOVE Twitter (and this site is a must-visit companion to Twitter).
Now the likely dates for the CA Supreme Court to release their decision are Tuesday, May 26 (because of the holiday), Thursday, May 28, or Monday, June 1.
I'm not feeling good about the fact that the Mayor is worried about riots.

Exclusive: SF Mayor Gavin Newsom Asked Court to Delay Prop 8 Ruling
Confidential sources close to San Francisco City Hall told Towleroad's Corey Johnson that the California Supreme Court was prepared to release its opinion on Proposition 8 tomorrow, but decided to delay the ruling after a call from Mayor Gavin Newsom.
Newsom"Newsom reached out to the Supreme Court and asked them to hold off releasing their decision so it did not coincide with the White Night riots," said our source.
As mentioned earlier, a ruling Thursday would have fallen on the 30th anniversary of the San Francisco riots, which were set off when the court handed down the most lenient decision possible (voluntary manslaughter) against Dan White for the murders of supervisor Harvey Milk and Mayor George Moscone. The ensuing riots in San Francisco on May 21, 1979 caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage.

Why gay marriage needs to be legal EVERYWHERE.
Just read this. So incredibly sad and WRONG. Nothing else to say really.
California Supreme Court ruling on Prop 8 is likely to be announced on 5/21, 5/26, 5/28 or 6/1.
And this via Twitter...SFPD staging baracades in the Castro today - anticipating a ruling this week? Or just a big American Idol party?
You can get a text alert 24 hours in advance when the decision comes down. Click here for the NCLR to text you...

Total Chaos
Vermont, Massachusetts, Iowa, New Hampshire, Maine, yeah, yeah…I’ll get to that AMAZING news about 5 states now enacting gay marriage eventually….but first….this!
The girls’ first swim team time trials and practice swim meet!
Don’t they look too cool for school!
Clearly we haven’t received the official uniform swimsuits yet…
Check out this fine backstroke form.
And I’m no expert, but that looks like a mighty fine butterfly for a 7 year old!
I have no idea how they did overall. Zoe took second in her heats in freestyle, butterfly and breaststroke (which looked exactly like her butterfly). Sophie…tried REALLY hard – and swam much faster than she ever has in practice. And she didn’t come in last! So there’s that. Perhaps it was the sundaes we promised them at the Ice Creamery this weekend if they tried their very best? Nah…couldn’t be.
Oh - and life lesson learned for future swim meets (and any other time) I will never buy a Little Ceaser's pizza again. OY - my stomach! :(

You say tomato, I say...
Zoe: We're raising worms in our classroom!
Me: Worms?
Sophie: Yeah, and they're going to turn into butterflies!
Me: Oh, you mean caterpillars?
Zoe: Yeah, calla-pitters. That's what I said.
