Minor construction...

Do you remember my basement? Good, because I managed to not take any “before” pictures before the drainage guys started working. Here’s what’s going on in my basement this week. It’s meant to stop the water that leaks in during the winters. Hope it works!

For the record, jackhammers in your house are not fun.

Laura was slightly alarmed by the big trench in the floor. I told the girls we were going to fill it with water and put fish in it. Sophie believed me. Zoe however, said “Mama, you’re just being facetious.” That’s my girl.
